Mohler Family — Mohler Family Farms started in 1977 with Allen Mohler. Together, Allen and his wife, Jane, grew the farm to include their son, Justin, full-time in 2011. Justin and his wife, Chelsea, are blessed to be raising the next generation of three Mohler Family Farmers.

Pattern Tiling — Mohler Family Farms offers a niche service of drainage tile installation to its landowners. Using their own plow and doing the work in-house adds high value to the land while keeping costs low.

Spreading Fertilizer — Mohler Family Farms works closely with an agronomist to ensure all fields are managed to achieve the right nutrients at the right rate, at the right place, and at the right time. In-house hauling and application of nutrients allow the farm to closely control all aspects of the nutrient program while achieving cost savings for landowners.

Planting Soybean Cover Crop — Soil conservation is one of the many ways Mohler Family Farms adds value to land for the next generation. A key pillar of the farm’s soil conservation program is the use of cereal rye as a cover crop. Cover crops protect soil from erosion, feed soil organisms, cycle nutrients, and keep weeds at bay.

Mohler Family Farms was started in 1977 by Allen Mohler. The farm has grown as the family has grown, today focusing on specialty corn and soybean production. We improve the land we operate by upgrading drainage, increase soil fertility and health, and making the farms we operate attractive and functional.
